La cuestión del sujeto puede encontrar su lugar en la antropología como un tercer concepto que permita trascender los diversos sentidos atribuidos a las nociones de persona e individuo, sin por ello eliminarlos. La figura del sujeto permite ultrapasar las problemáticas de la identidad que ocupara la antropología, desde sus orígenes hasta las polémicas más recientes oponiendo el comunitarismo y la república.

In anthropology, the subject can be considered a third concept that enables transcending the various meanings attributed to the notions of person and individual without eliminating them.
The figure of the subject allows to overcome the issues regarding identity that anthropology has dealt with from its origins up to the more recent debates that oppose communitarism and republic.
