Resumen de Estudio estructural y morfométrico del riñón contralateral en caso de nefrectomía, hidronefrósis unilateral y nefrectomía posthidronefrósis

El presente estudio trata de las modificaciones ocurridas en el riñón contralateral en tres casos diferentes:
nefrectomía unilateral, hidronefrosis unilateral e hidronefrosis y posterior nefiwtomía.
Hemos estudiado desde el punto de vista estructural y morfométrico, los glom6mlos de veinte ratas Wistar en cada uno de estos tres casos.
Los resultados sugieren la existencia de una hipertrofia compensatatotia en el caso de h nefrectomfa contralateral. Similares resultados se han observado en los otros dos casos, habiendo evidencias & cambios estructurales reversibles en el glomérulo de los aniniales con hidronefrosis unilateral. En cualquiera de estos casos, el cuadro lesiona1 tiende a remitir parcialmente tras' la nefrectamia de los riñones hidronefróticos. '

It is studied the modifications occurred in the contralateral icidney oa thrm diEEmat &uw: urtidírteral nephrectomy. unilateral hydronephrosis and unilateral hydronephrosis followed by nephrectomy.
Structural md morphometncal studies have been canied out on the glomenili of three different groups of twenty Wistar rats each. The results suggest the existente in the ~ontralateral kidney of a compensating hypertrophy in the case of unilateral nephrectomy. Similar results can be obsewed in the other two cases, although there are evidence of irreversible structural changes in the glomeruli of animal8 with unilateral hydronephrosis. However the process tends to remit partially if a nephrectomy of the hydronephrotic kidney-is c-ed out.
