    The relation between knowledge objectivity and life experience is the theme of this short essay. Contemplating the approach process on scientific research and the problematic relation between the subject and the object of knowledge in the Social Sciences, we try to evidence the interrelation between objective knowledge and the history of the knowing subject from a particular research. Considering that the researcher has also its own history, we debate Hegel�s assertive: �What is familiar is not, for that reason, necessarily known�

    A relação entre objetividade do conhecimento e a experiência de vida é o tema deste breve ensaio. Refletindo sobre o processo de abordagem da pesquisa científica e a problemática relação entre sujeito e objeto do conhecimento nas Ciências Sociais, tentamos dar relevo ao imbricamento que se faz entre o conhecimento objetivo e a história do sujeito cognoscente a partir de uma pesquisa em particular. Considerando que o pesquisador tem, ele também, sua história privada, colocamos em debate a assertiva de Hegel: �o que é familiar não é, por isso mesmo, necessariamente, conhecido�.
