La formación ética de las estudiantes de la carrera de educación de la Universidad Metropolitana

    La formación ética de las futuras docentes vista desde la dimensión de su crecimiento socio-emocional, a través de la implementación de un programa para el desarrollo de la autoestima y del desarrollo del juicio moral, fue objeto de evaluación para conocer la eficacia del proceso de aprendizaje y la adecuación del desempeño o correspondencia de los logros con las necesidades reales externas del programa. Para lo cual se realizó una evaluación sumativa del programa, comparando los parámetros de entrada con los de salida, midiendo con pruebas de pre-test y de post-test las variables autoestima y juicio moral. Para medir la autoestima se utilizó la escala de auto-aceptación elaborada por Emanuel Berger, y el juicio moral fue medido a través del Moral Judgement Interview denominado "Dilema de Heinz", diseñado por Lawrence Kohlberg. Para evaluar la adecuación del desempeño se diseñó una encuesta de opinión sobre la conducta ética profesional de las alumnas, tres años y medio después de haberse implementado el programa, la cual fue administrada a profesores de las mismas. Los resultados señalan que los objetivos curriculares para el desarrollo de la autoestima y del juicio moral, fueron alcanzados. Sin embargo, a través de la encuesta dirigida a los profesores se puede constatar que en el perfil ético de las futuras docentes se encuentran deficiencias en lo que se refiere a la iniciativa por un lado, y a la participación y solidaridad social por el otro. Por lo tanto, siendo que el programa va dirigido a fortalecer el perfil ético del docente en su rasgo Promotor Social, diríamos que la formación llevada a cabo no se corresponde totalmente con las necesidades reales externas del programa que establece el Ministerio de Educación, en la búsqueda de un docente que sea agente de cambio de social.

    The ethical education of the future teachers, sight from the dimension of their emotional growth, through the implementation of a program for the development of the self-esteem and of the development of the moral judgement, it was object of evaluation to know the efficiency of the learning process and the appropriateness of the performance or correspondence of the achievements with the external real needs of the program. For something which was accomplished an evaluation summative of the program, comparing the entry parameters with those of exit, measuring, with tests of pre-test and of post � test, the variables self-esteem and moral judgement. To measure the self-esteem was used the Self Acceptance Scale elaborated by Emanuel Berger, and the moral judgement was measured through Moral Judgement Interview denominated «Dilemma of Heinz», designed by Lawrence Kohlberg. To evaluate the appropriateness of the performance was designed a opinion poli on the professional ethics conduct of the students, three years and middle after it have been implemented the program, the one which was administered to professors of the same. The results indicate that the curricular objectives for the development of the self-esteem and of the moral judgement, they were reached. However through the survey directed to the professors can be verified that in the ethical profile of the future teachers, are found deficiencies with respect to the initiative on the one hand, and the participation and social solidarity by the other. Therefore being that the program is going directed to strengthen the ethical profile of the future teachers in their Social Promoting feature, we would say that the training carried out is not corresponded totally with the external real needs of the program that establishes the Department of Education, in the search of an teacher that it will be an agent of social change.
