La restauración del Palacio d'En Bou es una muestra de la complejidad que surge a la hora de intervenir en un edificio de arquitecturas superpuestas indefinidas, es decir, que acumula intervenciones de diversas épocas y estilos, pero de difícil comprensión en su estado original. El arquitecto Rafael Soler relata el proceso de lectura e interpretación del edificio durante el Estudio Previo, y las decisiones avaladas por la investigación que se tomaron durante la etapa de la restauración del edificio.
