    Al constituir las manifestaciones artísticas un gran factor educativo y de desarrollo, el estudio del Patrimonio y sus implicaciones didácticas supone un peculiar recurso de enseñanza-aprendizaje; razón que impulsó a la Universidad de Granada a insertar tal materia en el currículo de �Educación Social� instaurando un cauce por el cual desde la Didáctica de las Ciencias Sociales se ha implementado la formación inicial de esta titulación mediante el uso de la pagina Web del Observatorio del Patrimonio Histórico Español dependiente del Proyecto de Investigación 620-HUM del Dpto. de Hª del Arte de esta Universidad; proceso cuya relevancia aquí se valora.

    Artistic manifestations represent a significant impulse to education and development, being the study of Heritage and its didactic implications a unique and very valuable resource for teaching and learning; this reason prompted the University of Granada to include this topic in the �Social Education� curriculum. Therefore, through the Teaching of Social Sciences, a channel was established for implementing the initial formation in this grade, taking advantage of the Spanish Historical Heritage Observatory webpage, which is linked to this University´s Art History Department�s 620-HUM Research Project. The article evaluates the relevance of this process.
