Spinoza e Nietzche freed philosophy of its idea of metaphysical foundation, dismissing conscience of its pretensions, fighting the ataractic and apathetic model in Ethics , refusing a political volunteering. They both renewed the senses on philosophical activity proposing new conceptions of love and critics. Practicing philosophy is not about dominating passions or learning how to die, it�s not love for reality the way it is, or its supposed to be but it�s to think and evaluate reality in its active becoming. With them philosophy is defined as a stormy activity which aims to freedom: be it as expression of itself (ordine geométrico), be it as experimentation (of the things that make us happy, brings joy), critics on superstitions and moral rules �to make the tirans unhappy�, �to defeat the negative and its false prestige � � as noticed by Deleuze � who uses both in his own sake

Spinoza e Nietzsche liberaram a Filosofia do seu ideal de fundação metafísica, destituíram a consciência de suas pretensões conhecimento, combateram o modelo ataráxico ou apático na ética, recusaram o voluntarismo na política. Ambos renovaram o sentido da atividade filosófica e propuseram uma outra concepção do amor e da crítica: filosofar não é aprender a dominar as paixões, aprender a morrer, aprender a amar o real �tal qual ele é�, �tal qual ele deveria� ou �poderia ser� � mas pensá-lo e avaliá-lo em seu devir ativo. Com eles, a Filosofia se definirá como atividade intempestiva cujo objetivo é a liberação: seja como forma de expressão (ordine geométrico, aforismo), de experimentação (do que nos fortalece, ou nos dá alegria), de crítica da superstição e dos postulados da moral �para entristecer os tiranos�, para �vencer o negativo e seus falsos prestígios�, para �prejudicar a tolice� � tal como nota Deleuze, que de ambos se apropria em favor de seu próprio devir filosófico.
