Resumen de Literatura infantil y su traducción en el mundo árabe

La literatura infantil es un punto de encuentro sensible de lo científico y lo popular, lo analítico y lo espontáneo, lo real y lo imaginario, el pasado, el futuro y las concepciones políticas, éticas y religiosas en espejo fiel de la sociedad. Por eso, en este trabajo presentaremos una somera exposición de la evolución de la literatura infantil en el Mundo Árabe, su situación actual y los obstáculos que imposibilitan su desarrollo. También presentaremos una breve introducción teórica a la traducción de literatura infantil.

Children�s literature is a delicate place of encounter between those elements which are scientific, popular, analytic, spontaneous, real, and imaginary in nature. In this convergence, the past, the future as well as political, ethical and religious conceptions participate creating a faithful reflection of society. For this reason, in this study, we will offer a brief description of the evolution of children�s literature in the Arab world, its present situation and the obstacles which try to prevent its development. By the same token, we will offer a short theoretical introduction of the translation of Children�s literature.
