Resumen de Espaço industrial versus espaço financeiro: o transporte aéreo comercial brasileiro como objeto de análise.

  In the modern society, the financial logic focused in the shareholder value had dominated the business field (FLIGSTEIN, 2001). Using the economic sociology and institutional organizational analysis concepts, we studied the dynamic of the powers in a particular social space: the Brazilian airline transport field.

  We studied the strategies of the firms that operate both in the original industrial field and in the financial one.

  Considering the institutional information from the two incumbents firms (TAM and GOL airlines) and those from the business news, we try to identify the cognitive structures that make the differences between a firm that was born in the influence of the industrial logic (TAM) from that was born in financial logic time (GOL) and how, this last, began to predict the priority of the strategies agenda both in the industrial field as in the financial one.

  Na sociedade moderna, a lógica financeira focada no valor dos acionistas estaria predominando no espaço empresarial (FLIGSTEIN, 2001). Utilizando-se dos conceitos propostos pela sociologia econômica e pela análise institucional das organizações, estudamos a dinâmica das forças em um espaço social particular: o espaço do transporte aéreo comercial brasileiro. Estudamos as estratégias das empresas que operam tanto no seu espaço industrial original como no espaço financeiro. Considerando as informações institucionais das duas empresas dominantes (TAM e GOL linhas aéreas) e aquelas veiculadas na impresa de negócios, procuramos indentificar as estruturas cognitivas que diferenciam uma empresa nascida sob a lógica industrial (TAM) daquela criada sob predomínio da lógica financeira (GOL) e como, esta última, passa a ditar a agenda de prioridades estratégicas tanto no espaço industrial como no financeiro.
