This article represents initial research towards a comparative analysis between the corpora of the most relevant works issued from the experience of Nazi camps and some of the existing Catalan literary works that take the experience of the French camps as their point of departure. While acknowledging the historical differences under which these two corpora were produced, the shared factors of exile and internment make it pertinent to carry out a comparative analysis to explore the similarities and differences in representing fear, death, body perception and exclusion. The article also offers some preliminary questions that give some clues to how we might further explore how testimonial literature produced from the experience of Nazi camps has permeated the reception of Catalan texts to the point of compromising their visibility
