SAÚDE, DOENÇA, PRAZER E SOFRIMENTO DOS TRABALHADORES NA PRODUÇÃO DO ALUMÍNIO PRIMÁRIO NO PARÁ

    The aluminum industry in the state of Pará faced many changes. Among these changes, we distinguish the process of productive restructuration of work, that, on one hand, brought technological development and increased the production, but on the other hand, decreased the opportunities of work, intensifying the �tercerization� in this area, changing the conditions and the relations of work. Based on complaints connected with healthy problems with workers in aluminum industries in the region, made by NGOs and workers� associations, this study aims to understand: how the workers� security-healthy relation is developed on the productive restructuration on the aluminum production in the state of Pará and which impacts it has on subjectivity of the workers. Based on the theoretical discussion of the psychodynamics of work, the present study developed a qualitative research and interviewed 44 workers, their parents, workers� delegates, technologists and administrations of one industry that produce primary aluminum. The suffering caused by the relation of the worker with the work organization which leads him to develop diseases is denied by their employing companies, by the health professionals and by the State, and it is only revealed by the defense mechanisms used by the workers themselves. Following the Workplace Psychodynamics analysis, listening the workers in order to recognize their suffering can be the first step in the construction of changes in the work field capable to improve changes in search of a healthier working atmosphere

    A indústria do alumínio no Estado do Pará enfrentou inúmeras mudanças, das quais ressaltamos o processo de reestruturação produtiva, que se por um lado implicou em melhorias tecnológicas e aumento da produção, por outro, fez diminuir os postos de trabalho, intensificando a terceirização no setor, alterando sensivelmente as condições e relações de trabalho. Com base em denúncias atinentes a agravos à saúde dos trabalhadores das empresas de alumínio na região, realizadas por ONG e associação de trabalhadores, esse estudo indaga: Como ocorre a gestão da segurança/saúde dos trabalhadores no bojo da reestruturação produtiva na produção do alumínio no Pará e qual o seu impacto sobre a subjetividade dos trabalhadores. Valendo-se do aporte teórico da Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, o presente estudo optou pela abordagem qualitativa em pesquisa o que permitiu a realização de 44 entrevistas com trabalhadores, familiares, representantes de trabalhadores, técnicos e gestores de uma empresa produtora de alumínio primário. O sofrimento que resulta da relação do trabalhador com organização do trabalho que o adoece é negado pela empresa, pelos profissionais de saúde e pelo Estado, revelando-se por via das estratégias defensivas pelos trabalhadores utilizadas. De acordo com a Psicodinâmica do Trabalho, ouvir o trabalhador, reconhecendo o seu sofrimento, pode-se configurar como um primeiro passo no sentido de mudanças no âmbito do trabalho, capazes de incentivar a busca pela saúde.
