Samuel Beckett's oeuvre is child to the structuralism of his period : combinations and permutations are where death inscribes itself in these texts. The untenable realms of our modern imaginations play themselves out in these works : they hold no subjective identity other than that of a "space without space", the space for the writing of a paradoxically exterior interiority.
