  • Cooperation for the development of Local Governments occupies a relevant place within the plurality of agents for Spanish Cooperation, being a great number the local corporations that dedicate part of their budgets to projects of cooperation of a high quality. Among the multiple projects that FELCODE carries out, I would like to emphasize in these pages the voluntary Program of experts in international cooperation for development. This program allows technical experts with years of work experience in sectors like local development, rural tourism, environmental management or economic development to share their experiences with technicians of developing Latin American countries. As a collaborator with FELCODE and a participant in these projects on several occasions I would like to highlight the experience lived last September in the District of Pando (Bolivia).
