    • Estampa Popular was the first network of antifracoist painters in Spain. Beyond aesthetic, thematic or technical similarities between the work of Estampa Popular�s members and some artistic works, figures or movements identified with Spanish artistic tradition, here it is stated that the traditions Estampa Popular was put in relation with were a fundamental element to recognize and interpret the critique to francoism that was to be found in their works.
