Los cambios sociales influyen directamente en la familia y la velocidad con que la familia responde y se adapta difiere de la velocidad con que ocurren los cambios. Cada familia se toma su tiempo y plantea su propia estrategia, de su supervivencia dependerá la de sus miembros y la de la sociedad; entender la metodología que usan las familias para mantenerse vigentes, es fundamental para aprender con ellas, de sus aciertos y de sus errores. Se requiere el uso de diversas herramientas y disciplinas que, al compás de la pedagogía social, guíen una intervención con la familia en su pedagogía doméstica

Social changes directly affect the family and the speed with which the family responds and adapts differs from the speed with which changes occur. Each family takes its time and raises its own strategy, from its survival will depend the survival of its members and of the society; the understanding of the methodology used by families to remain valid, is essential to learn with them, from their successes and their mistakes. It is required the use of various tools and disciplines, which at the rhythm of social pedagogy guide an intervention with the family in their home pedagogy.
