  • Hypsiboas lundii is a hylid frog widely distributed on Southeast and Midwest of Brazil. This species can be found near streams in both primary and secondary forests, and is totally dependent on this vegetation type at all stages of their life cycle. The aim of this study was to report the helminth fauna associated with H. lundii from an area of Cerrado Biome at municipality of Sacramento, Minas Gerais State, Southeastern Brazil. A total of 14 H. lundii specimens (9 males, 4 females and 1 young; SVL = 60.85 mm ± 7.13 SD) was examined for the presence of helminth parasites. Only three males were infected with Ochoterenella digiticauda, and a total of 10 helminth specimens were found (two males and eight females). The overall prevalence of parasites was 21.4%. The mean abundance and a mean intensity of infection was 0.7 ± 0.5 and 3.3 ± 1.9, respectively. All parasites were found in the body cavity of H. lundii. This study is the first report on the helminth fauna of H. lundii which was composed only by O. digiticauda, a helminth that has been found in several species of Brazilian amphibians. Therefore, the results of this study agree with other studies which have report that the helminth communities of hylid frogs, mainly that arboreal species, have relatively low species richness and dominance generalist species
