    Dentro de las principales características que transversalizan los distintos procesos de renovación constitucional que se han realizado en América Latina, fundamentalmente durante las últimas dos décadas, se encuentra el hecho de que se trata de un constitucionalismo aspiracional. Este tipo de constitucionalismo articula las nociones de constitución y progreso; prospera sobre todo en situaciones en las cuales existe una gran inconformidad con el presente y una fuerte creencia en las posibilidades de un futuro mejor.     Law as hope is an idea which embraces one of the mains features of several constitutional renewal processes developed in Latin America in the last two decades. Latin American constitutionalism bring about the conception conforms to law is a system of social regulation but also an instrument or device to improve the social conditions of the worst-off in the society. This notion of constitutionalism flourishes principally in contexts of profound social and economic inequalities, just as Colombia and all the countries in Latin America.
