    Dentro de la corriente de la nueva historia intelectual, se plantea presentar los principales lineamientos de los proyectos que Alberdi y Sarmiento concibieron para el orden posrosista y analizar, tomando como marco de referencia aquellos proyectos, cómo se conjugan conceptos como nación, extranjero y ciudadanía en las trazas de ambos miembros de la Generación del ´37. Se concluye que debe promoverse una mirada más compleja sobre los proyectos de ambos publicistas que atienda tanto sus similitudes como sus diferencias y además, que la concepción de nación que ambos adoptaron se erigió sobre una operación lingüística orientada a connotar negativamente a la población autóctona y positivamente a la extranjera.

    Within the wave of the new intellectual history, it is suggested to present the main guidelines of the projects that Alberdi and Sarmiento conceived for the �postrosista� order and analyze how concepts such as nation, foreigners and citizenship are combined in both projects of the 37th generation members.

    It has been settle that it must be promoted a more complex analysis on the project of both writers, and analysis that covers its similarities and differences, plus the conception of the nation that both, Alberdi and Sarmiento adopted , was erected over a negative connotation towards the native population and a positive connotation towards the foreigners.
