Resumen de Barra do garças - MT no contexto socioeconômico da região centro oeste e o surgimento dos moradores de rua

  In this paper, a Brazilian Midwest characterization will be presented, with emphasis on its economical growth since the 1970s, once it is from that period this region starts to show relative rates of increases in population and economic spheres which will stand on the national scene. However, a bigger focus in Mato Grosso State will be given here, so that we can understand better the process of expansion of the city under study. This approach will be done in order to understand the phenomenon of social exclusion in the region. The aim is to investigate how factors such as population growth in the region, as well as return migration can influence the process that originated the presence of homeless people in Barra do Garças � MT. For this, the work was developed by adopting the deductive method and the literature research, trying to understand the process of occupation of the Midwest Region of the country showing their economic and population growth, and also the development model implemented in the region which has been benefiting the phenomenon of social exclusion which enables the emergence of the homeless people phenomenon.

  Neste trabalho, será apresentada uma caracterização do Centro-Oeste, ressaltando o seu crescimento econômico desde a década de 1970, uma vez que é a partir daquele período que esta região passa a apresentar índices de relativos aumentos nas esferas econômicas e populacionais que irão sobressair no cenário nacional. Contudo, dar-se-á, aqui, maior enfoque ao Estado de Mato Grosso, para se compreender melhor o processo de expansão do município de Barra do Garças em estudo. Esta abordagem se fará com o intuito de compreender o fenômeno da exclusão social nessa região. O que se pretende investigar é como fatores como o crescimento populacional da região, bem como, a migração de retorno influenciaram no processo que deu origem a presença de moradores de rua em Barra do Garças MT. Para tanto, desenvolveu-se o trabalho adotando o método dedutivo e a pesquisa bibliográfica procurando conhecer o processo de ocupação da Região Centro Oeste do país evidenciando o seu crescimento econômico e populacional e, ainda, o modelo de desenvolvimento implementado na região que acaba por favorecer o fenômeno da exclusão social que viabiliza o surgimento do fenômeno dos moradores de rua.
