The author focuses on Rodolfo Pallucchini's relationship with the cultural and artistic circles in Trieste and analyses two important moments: in 1953, the correspondence between Pallucchini and the academic rector,on the occasion of the Esposizione Nazionale della Pittura Italiana Contemporanea; in the sixties, the profitable relation of Pallucchini with Lojze-Luigi Spacal which produced the retrospective exhibition -at the Museo Revoltella- of Spacal's graphic works and a perspective critical essay in the catalogue.
