Nietzxsche's hostility to theology represents one of the greatest challenges for Christian thought: The critical destruction of tradition operated radically by Nietzsche takes the form of a violent anti-Christian polemic, and goes beyond the relative definitions of theism and atheism, of good and evil, in a sense which -paradoxically- may help theology to a better self-understanding. The present essay explores such a possibility, in the way of an ethic of love theologically relevant.
