  • The British Library has a long and distinguished past, from its earliest days as part of the foundation of the British Museum. Those historic collections are ever more accessible, as technology discovers new ways of discovery and access. Today the digital revolution creates new publishing formats and opens up new methods of communication so that acquisition of material is as much todo with connecting as collecting. This brigs possibilities for exciting partnerships and colaboration on an international scale in which the British Library plays a major role or takes the lead.
