    En el presente trabajo se pretenden analizar los aspectos principales de la investigación visigótica comparándola con la realizada por el profesor Alfonso García-Gallo; para ello hay que considerar tres espacios principales: la cuestión del reparto de tierras entre godos y romanos, la categoría denominada «Derecho germánico» y la historia de la legislación; se analizarán también las principales hipótesis interpretativas desde el punto de vista de Zeumer

    In this paper we aim to analyse the state of the art of Visigothic research, comparing it with the one made by Professor Alfonso García-Gallo. Three main areas are to be considered: a. the issue of land sharing between Goths and Romans; b. the category called �Germanic law� and c. the history of Visigothic legislation. Zeumer�s point of view on the main interpretative hypothesis will also be reviewed

    Die vorliegende Arbeit hat zum Ziel, die Hauptlinien der Westgotenforschung zu beleuchten und sie gleichzeitig mit dem Werk des Gelehrten Alfonso García-Gallo in Beziehung zu setzen; nach ihm sind drei Hauptfelder zu betrachten: die Frage der Bodenverteilung zwischen Goten und Römern, das so genannte «Germanische Recht» und die Gesetzgebungsgeschichte. Darüber hinaus werden gleichfalls die wichtigsten Auslegungshypothesen aus der Sicht von Zeumer analysiert
