Resumen de Diferencias en el comportamiento ecológico y sus antecedentes: una comparativa internacional entre estudiantes universitarios

El objetivo del presente trabajo es realizar una comparación sobre el comportamiento ecológico de estudiantes universitarios de dos regiones en diferentes contextos: Bahía (Brasil) y Comunidad Autónoma del País Vasco (España). Para ello, se analizan 347 encuestas de la Universidade Federal da Bahía (UFBA) y 456 de la Universidad del País Vasco (UPV/EHU). Los estudiantes universitarios son un colectivo a estudiar especialmente interesante por su rol como futuros agentes decisores. Se pretende hacer hincapié en el aspecto educacional, analizando el papel que ejerce el conocimiento medioambiental en el desarrollo de comportamientos pro-ambientales.

The aim of this work is to make a comparison of the ecological behavior of University students from two regions in different contexts: Bahia (Brazil) and the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country (Spain). In this regard, 347 surveys from the Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) and 456 surveys of the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) are analyzed. College students are a study collective especially interesting for their role as future decision-makers. It is intended to emphasize the educational aspect, analyzing the role that environmental knowledge exerts in the development of pro-environmental behaviors.
