¿Ni de aquí ni de allá o... De aquí y de allá?: prácticas transnacionales de participación y pertenencia entre jóvenes paraguayos residentes en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires

    A la par del proceso de integración económica que estructura el bloque MERCOSUR, se han producido complejos vínculos sociales y políticos entre las diferentes sociedades pertenecientes a los Estados miembros. La participación civil en torno a reclamos por la ampliación de los derechos ciudadanos entre los países limítrofes estimula fenómenos de transnacionalismo migrante que constituyen desafíos ante los Estados (tanto de origen como de destino), posibilitando nuevas formas de ejercer la ciudadanía fuera del territorio nacional.

    En este contexto, nos preguntamos por el surgimiento de diversos espacios juveniles de reivindicación de derechos en el marco de la migración paraguaya en Argentina y su incidencia sobre la esfera pública entre los correspondientes Estados. A través de un abordaje etnográfico exploramos la dinámica de dos colectivos de jóvenes migrantes en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (CABA), procurando vislumbrar las identificaciones que éstos ciudadanos despliegan en el contexto migratorio, teniendo en cuenta su intervención política en tanto jóvenes y migrantes, así como, considerando su diálogo con las tradicionales instituciones de la colectividad en torno al imaginario nacional de comunidad paraguaya que históricamente han proyectado.

    At par of the process of economic integration that structures the block MERCOSUR, complex social and political links have taken place between different societies belonging to the State members. The civil participation concerning claims for the extension of the citizen rights between the bordering countries, stimulates phenomena of immigrant trans-nationalism that constitute challenges to the Nation-states (both of origin and of destination), making possible new ways of exercising the citizenship out of the national territory.

    In this context, we wonder for the emergence of diverse youth spaces of rights recovery inside the Paraguayan immigration in Argentina and his political impact on the public sphere between the respective Nation-states. Across an ethnographic approach we explore the dynamics of two groups of Paraguayan young immigrants in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), trying to visualize the identifications that these citizens develop on the migratory context, bearing his political intervention in mind as young and immigrant people, as well as, considering his dialog with the traditional institutions of the collective concerning the imaginary native of "Paraguayan community" that historically they have projected.
