  • Resumen
    • The article expounds the intricate facts that sowed and produced the way, which led eventually to the condemnation of Jansenism by the bull «Unigenitus». In a particular way, the author describes the precedents that induced Pope Innocent XII to the promulgation of the decree of the 28th January 1694 and of the two briefs of the 7th February of the same year to solve the question of the «fact» concerning the doctrine of Jansen and the «formulary» on this fact, adopted by the preceding pope Alexander VII in pronouncing his judgement.
