  • Setting itself within the context of the trinitarian theology of the Cross, which proceeds according to the principle that the Cross of the Risen (Christ) and the trinitarian mystery must be read in a reciprocally defined relationship, the article elaborates in its central part a reflection on God's activity "ad extra" reconsidering both the motive of creation and that of the incarnation in the light of the history of the Crucified. In the third part, the anthropology of the image is again resumed within the staurological context, departing from the thesis of the Christian's conformity to the Crucified to the other thesis of the original and necessary christologic determination of the whole creation.
