  • Resumen
    • The article discusses water conflict as a study in the prevention of conflict through negotiation and agreement. It notes that as water becomes scarcer, people with access to water resources are faced with the choice of fighting or dying of dehydration that result in deadly conflicts between armed parties spurred by water scarcity. The U.S. National Intelligence Estimate on Water predicts that nations are likely to use their ability to control water supplies coercively beyond the year 2022
