  • The article discusses the triple earthquake to hit Afghanistan in 2014 namely a security one, an economic one and a political one. It indicates that Afghan security will inevitably deteriorate with the departure of North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO)'s International Security Assistance Force (ISAF). It notes that the Afghan economy which is already distorted by unmonitored economic aide will take a major dive. It suggests that its 2014 presidential elections may trigger major violence
