�Ecoenvelopes� is about the development of building envelope solutions for tropical humid climates involving passive control of thermal gains on their surfaces, allowing for better internal conditions and comfort without the use of thermal machines.
Environmental principles, design, and technological aspects are speci! cally de! ned based on the peculiar conditions (geo-climatic, technological, of biodiversity, economic and anthropic) present in the Colombian low altitude regions, marked by constant high temperatures.
Thermal and CFD simulations orient the process of experimental veri! cation in a permanent laboratory counting on partnerships and available know-how.
