In 1683, the painters Antonio Zanchi and Giambattista Rossi signed a division of the collection owned by Paolo Caliari's descendants. Unlike a well known inventory from 1682, this hitherto unpublished document provides attributions of the paintings, mostly works by Paolo's son Carletto Caliari and, in minor quantity, by Benedetto Caliari, Francesco Montemezzano, Alvise Benfatto and Bassano.
