Resumen de Estrategias de motivación hacia la lectura en estudiantes de Quinto Grado de una Institución Educativa

En las instituciones educativas colombianas, existen dificultades en la capacidad lectora de los estudiantes, e indicadores de entes evaluadores como Pisa, muestran para Colombia, en 2009, no logran el nivel mínimo adecuado de lectura. Problema que requiere ser abordado con estrategias que motiven hacia la lectura. Esta situación, es parecida en la institución educativa Institución Educativa Rural Mixto de Palmira, Municipio de Pueblo Viejo, Magdalena, por lo que se diseñó estrategias de motivación hacia la lectura de los estudiantes. La muestra está constituida por el quinto Grado de primaria. La investigación desarrollada se basa en un Paradigma empírico analítico por la finalidad de las encuestas y el procesamiento de la información, tiene una orientación cuantitativa,. Con una muestra de sesenta y cuatro (64) estudiantes, de dos cursos del grado 5º de la Básica Primaria. Las técnicas e instrumentos de recolección de información para los estudiantes son: Prueba diagnóstica valorativa para medir el grado de motivación ante la lectura y Pruebas dirigidas para conocer cuál de los sistemas de representación (Visual, Auditivo y Kinestésico), tiene cada alumno, con el fin de respetar estas condiciones que plantea Bandler & Grinder (citado por O`Connor & Seymour, 1997). En función de los diagnósticos, se diseñaron las estrategias que conducen a motivar al estudiante a usar la lectura como herramienta fundamental del aprendizaje y medio para alcanzar un pensamiento crítico- reflexivo

Currently, there are difficulties in the reading ability of students in educational institutions, and indicators of evaluation bodies such as Pisa, show to Colombia, in 2009, do not achieve the appropriate minimum level of reading. Problem that needs to be addressed with strategies that motivate into reading. This situation is similar in the educational institution mixed Rural educational institution in Palmira, municipality of Pueblo Viejo, Magdalena, so it was designed strategies of motivation towards reading students. The sample consists of the fifth grade. Developed research is based on an empirical analytical paradigm for the purpose of surveys and information processing, have a quantitative orientation. With a sample of sixty-four (64) students, two courses of 5 grade of the primary Basic. Techniques and instruments for collecting information for students are: evaluative diagnostic test for measuring the degree of motivation reading and targeted testing to find out which of the systems of representation (Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic), have each student, in order to respect these conditions posed by Bandler Grinder (quoted by O´Connor Seymour, 1997). Depending on the diagnosis, were designed the strategies that lead to motivate students to use reading as a fundamental tool of learning and a half to reach a critical-reflective thought.
