La visión de la barbarie es un tema que ha sido inagotable debido a la constante capacidad humana de reinventar las dimensiones del horror. No obstante, si se le analiza desde la filosofía política, es un tema que requiere reinterpretarse conti- nuamente para evitar el riesgo de reinstalar el horror en la lista de preocupaciones del mundo contemporáneo. La reinstalación del horror en este contexto estaría apoyada en la debilidad que hoy tienen las instituciones democráticas, como consecuencia de las vi- rulentas críticas que exponen sus males, a menudo merecidas. Nosotros creemos que la barbarie es inabarcable e inabordable en su totalidad si se le ve desde un solo ángulo metodológico. Por lo tanto, nuestro objetivo con este artículo es aportar al continuo pro- ceso de reflexión una posible aproximación conjunta desde la literatura (Jünger y la lite- ratura de los supervivientes), así como de la filosofía política (Schmitt y sus críticos)

The view of the barbarity is a theme that has been inexhaustible due to the constant hu- man ability of reinventing the horror�s dimensions.
However, if analyzed through the political philoso- phy, this is a theme that requires continuous reread- ings in order to prevent the risk of reactualization of the horror in the contemporary world�s roll of concerns. The horror�s reactualization in this context would be assisted by the weakness that is currently happening at the democratic institutions as a result of virulent denouncing criticisms that expose its infirmity, often deservedly. We believe that the bar- barity is unembraceable and unapproachable in its integrality if seen through one single angle. Therefore, our purpose in this text is supporting the continuous process of reflecting about this theme through the pos- sible conjunctive approximation of literature (Jünger and the survival�s literature) and political philosophy (Schmitt and his critics).
