Thanks to the finding of a unknown inventory of the properties of the painter Michelangelo Cerquozzi, executed by the painter Mario de'Fiori, the writer of the present study was able to reconstruct the "quadreria" that Cerquozzi once possessed. Because Mario de'Fiori in his inventory also recorded the names of the artists who painted the canvases that Carquozzi owned (Giacinto Brandi, Viviano Codazzi, Charles Mellin and Frans Luycx), that were not known till the present day, we now know much more about this topic. This inventory is also able to give to the reader an idea of the lavish house at Trinità dei Monti and the atelier of Cerquozzi, after rented by the portrait painter Ferdinand Voet.
