  Teak (Tectonagrandis L. f.), The high commercial value of the wood is one of the most commonly used species in reforestation in the state of MatoGrosso. The aim of this study was to evaluate changes in the chemical characteristics of a soil reforested with teak. The study was conducted on a private estate in Nova Maringá-MT, which was selected three areas,native forest (NF) and two with plantations of Teak 3 (T3) and 13 (T13) years, in which were opened small trenches three (repetitions). Soil samples were collected at depths of 0 - 10:10 - 20 cm where chemical analyzes were made. The experimental design was a completely randomized design with three treatments (systems) and three replications. The chemical property SB showed the greatest change in the depth of 0-10 cm (among properties). MO contents changed for more between treatments T3 and T13 and MN. The full and effective CTCs did not change.

  : A teca (Tectona grandis L. f.), pelo elevado valor comercial da sua madeira é uma das espécies mais utilizadas em reflorestamentos no estado de Mato Grosso. O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar as alterações nas características químicas de um solo reflorestado com teca. O estudo foi realizado numa propriedade privada no município de Nova Maringá-MT, onde foram selecionadas três áreas, a mata nativa (MN) e duas com plantios de Teca 3 (T3) e de 13 (T13) anos, nas quais abriram-se três minitrincheiras (repetições).  Amostras de solo foram coletadas nas profundidades de 0 - 10 e 10 - 20 cm, onde foram feitas análises químicas. O delineamento utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado com três tratamentos (sistemas) e três repetições. A propriedade química SB foi a que apresentou maior alteração na profundidade de 0-10 cm (dentre as propriedades). Os teores de MO alteraram para mais entre os tratamentos T3 e T13 e o MN. As CTCs total e efetiva não variaram.
