  • The article discusses the initiatives of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) to address the lack of qualified management accountants. It highlights the creation of the website to focus on the role of accounting and finance professionals, establishment of student chapters in the U.S. and abroad, and research initiatives relating to profession's talent issues. Information on IMA's 14th Annual Student Leadership Conference held in November 2013 in Charlotte, North Carolina is provided.
