Resumen de Aspectos da educação da criança na história da filosofia da educação: a perspectiva de filósofos e educadores

  Este trabalho tem por objetivo apresentar diferentes concepções sobre a educação das crianças na perspectiva de filósofos e educadores, considerados como alguns dos autores mais representativos no estudo do tema.

  Trata-se de uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico, fundamentada na construção de conhecimentos oriundos das contribuições de autores clássicos e contemporâneos, além de estudos posteriores feitos por estudiosos e pesquisadores sobre as ideias de tais autores. Esse procedimento é necessário porque nem todos os autores trataram sistematicamente do tema em questão, mas apenas abordaram-no esporadicamente em aforismos, ensaios e proposições. Assim, teremos sequencialmente o estudo e a interpretação de algumas ideias encontradas nas obras de Platão, Montaigne, Descartes, Locke, Rousseau, Kant, Vygotsky, Dewey, Piaget e Lipman. A partir da compreensão dos avanços e retrocessos no estudo da educação da criança, defendemos a necessidade e a relevância do estudo dessa temática no âmbito acadêmico, particularmente, na disciplina Filosofia da Educação, pois, conforme acreditamos, a mesma constitui um dos principais campos teóricos na contribuição para a formação de futuros educadores.

  This paper aims to present different views about the education of children in the view of philosophers and educators reputed as some of the most representative authors in the study of the theme. This is a bibliographic research, based on the construction of knowledge drawn from the contributions of classical and contemporary authors, and later studies made by scholars and researchers on the ideas of such authors. This approach is necessary because not all authors treated the theme being studied systematically, but addressed it only sporadically in aphorisms, essays and propositions. Hence, we sequentially have the study and interpretation of certain ideas found in works of Plato, Montaigne, Descartes, Locke, Rousseau, Kant, Vygotsky, Dewey, Piaget and Lipman. From the understanding of advances and setbacks in the study of education of children, we support the need and relevance of the study of this theme in the academic sphere, particularly in the philosophy of education class, because as we believe, it constitutes one of a major theoretical fields contributing to the formation of future educators.
