El patrimonio de los pueblos minero-industriales del sudeste Bonaerense (Argentina) como recurso para nuevos productos turísticos

    El presente artículo plantea la necesidad de revalorizar elementos del patrimonio minero a través del turismo cultural, ya sea para fortalecer los recursos turísticos existentes como para generar nuevos. Esto puede permitir desestacionalizar al turismo, potenciar su crecimiento ampliando regionalmente los beneficios del mismo, y preservar y revalorizar el patrimonio cultural local. En este artículo se considerara un tipo particular de patrimonio cultural, el patrimonio minero-industrial, representado por tres localidades localizadas geográficamente en la región sudeste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, en la República Argentina. Estas localidades, altamente vinculadas a la actividad minera e industrial regional, se encuentran en algunos casos completamente abandonadas y en otros funcionan bajo lógicas y procesos espaciales diferentes. Ahora bien, el turismo y dentro de este el turismo cultural podría permitir la revalorización de las localidades y de la actividad minera, con el significado histórico que poseen como patrimonio.

    The present article outlines the necessity to strengthen the tourist existent products and to revalue elements of the heritage through the cultural tourism, generating new tourist products. This can allow to change the seasonal practices of the tourism, to develop their growth, enlarging the regional benefits of the tourism and to preserve and to revalue the cultural local heritage. In this particular case the miner-industrial heritage has been considered inside the cultural heritage, represented by three towns located in the southeast region of the County of Buenos Aires, Argentine Republic. These towns, representative of the mining and industrial regional activity, are in some totally abandoned cases and in others they work at smaller level. The tourism and specifically the cultural tourism could allow the revaluation of the towns and of the mining activity, with the historical meaning that they possess.
