Resumen de Observación de un dormidero de Lúganos (Carduelis spinus)
Some groups of Siskins were watched at the riparian woodland from the River Anyet in Sant Climent de Sescebes (Girona), from 20 to23 November, 1988. A flock of 7-8 birds was observed to use the top of a black poplar Populus nigra roosting there on two consecutive nights. These observations show that the siskins roost in smalls groups, although this was on irruptive year. This small size of the roosts is probably related to the high cohesion of their flocks and to the small number of members that form their groups
