Resumen de Sobre Vidaliella gerundensis (Vidal, 1883) del Paleogen de Vallibona (els Ports)

  Es confirma l'existència de Paleogen a Vallibona (els Ports, nord-est de la Península Ibèrica), tot i que no està cartografiat per l'IGME. S'estudia la població de l?espècie Vidaliella gerundensis (Vidal, 1883). Els nivells amb fòssils continentals lacustres s'assignen al final del Paleocè, al Thanetià. Es cita un nou jaciment de Paleogen continental no conegut: mas de Telers (Vallibona, els Ports). S'amplia la fauna citada amb un nou gasteròpode.

  The existence of Paleogene in Vallibona (Ports, Northeast of the Iberian Peninsula) is confirmed. Although not mapped by IGME. We study the population of the species Vidaliella gerundensis (Vidal, 1883). Continental fossil lake levels are assigned at the end of the Paleocene, in Thanetian. A new site of Paleogene continental cited: mas de Telers (Vallibona, els Ports, Spain). Expands with a new gastropod fauna quoted.
