  • The museum without walls or how to show the visible This article, while not all-inclusive, endeavours to aid in the understanding of the transformative practices used by Malraux. The corpus here appears as a veritable archaeological practice and mechanism used by Malraux to reveal a new world of forms. It also shows his desire to have a diverse and encyclopaedic documentation as well as methods to build, select and develop his iconography. These choices show how Malraux continues to exploit the interactions between images and layout. Also, the analysis of the editorial genesis permits the interrogation of the issues that underline this practice in the organization of museums during the Malraux's time.
