  • The author offers opinions on managerial accounting. It is stated that management accounts have become more influential within corporations due to the increased complexity of business. Reports from the periodical "U.S. News & World Report" and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics are cited to argue that there is increased demand for management accounts. The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is praised for its continuing education, mentoring and certification programs.
