  • The article presents the author's perspective on being chief executive officer (CEO) at accounting firm Grant Thornton, on his father's focused listening to customers' needs at his hardware store in Cleveland, Ohio, and on the idea that CEOs provide leadership by listening to their staff and partners. The article notes that Grant Thornton supports the European Commission's efforts to improve the quality of audit reports. It also notes India's Companies Act on corporate governance.
