La educación para la salud en las enseñanzas no universitarias

    Se revisa el camino seguido por la Educación para la Salud considerando tres fases, la primera que recoge los primeros ensayos, considera la educación sanitaria como una forma asequible de Prevención. La segunda, recoge el renacimineto de este concepto en el medio escolar. La tercera, en la que nos encontramos, se puede considerar de consolidación del concepto y aceptación de la necesidad que se explicita en la LOGSE. Esta ley considera la EPS como área transversal, porque ha de impregnar todas las disciplinas del currículum. En esta fase por ser más impositiva que intuitiva advertimos algunos riesgos para su implantación progresiva.

    The article reviews the way followed by Health Education considering three phases. The first phase, based on early test, considers Helth Education as a form of feasible Prevention. The second phase, in the ´70s, deals with the rebirth of this concept in the school. The third phase, wich we are currently in, can be considered a phase of consolidation of the concepts and the assumption approval of the need for it to be explained in the LOGSE (current Law of secondary education). This Law considers Health Education as a cross-curricular subject, because it must pervade all the disciplines of the curriculum. I this phase, since it is more compulsory than intuitive, we note some risks for its gradual implementation.
