  • Resumen
    • The general objective of this work is to provide a clear knowledge of the experiences and projects of the undergraduate education in the pharmaceutical career at the School of Pharmacy and Biochemical Sciences of the University of Rosario. The program in the subject of Assistencial Pharmacy, the field of our daily work, contemplates not only the technological and scientific knowledge, but also the practical experiences with an accentuated hourly load in the staff services of several hospital and community pharmacies. In 1997, it was designed a new program of studies that consists of two stages: (1) Basic and Formative Cycles (fist four years of studies) (2) Oriented Formative Cycle (last year of studies) in which the student may choose between two alternatives: Either the assistential or the technological. The cycle of assistential orientation consists of three integrated subjects: Toxicology, Assistential Pharmacy and Clinical Pharmacy. The alumni are active participants in the teaching/learning process; providing them with an important quota of compromise and responsibility in their formative results
