    A partir de una investigación etnográfica en la Corte francesa del derecho de asilo —institución que evalúa las apelaciones de los solicitantes de asilo que ya han recibido un primer rechazo de la administración francesa—, propongo una exploración de las emociones y sentimientos que se ponen en juego a la hora de evaluar la credibilidad de las peticiones de asilo y la sinceridad de los solicitantes. El estudio de las emociones permitirá abordarla construcción de las figuras de víctima, militante y del falso refugiado en sede judicial.

    Based on an ethnographic research at the French Court of Asylum —which reviews appeals from decisions of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons that have been rejected—, this article explores the emotions at stake in the courtroom when judges evaluate the credibility of the claims and the sincerity of the claimants. Through the study of emotions, I will analyze the construction of the representations of the victim, the activist and the bogus refugee
