  The family is a group permeated by different relations, feelings and thoughts, which may or may not be elaborated along the family relationship. Thus, it is common the difficulty of elaboration and symbolization of elements that permeate it. As an alternative to deal with such difficulties, the family group may elect an identified patient, which will be responsible for all the difficulties faced by the family. Taken it into consideration, this study aimed to analyze, from clinical-qualitative perspective, the triages of families for family psychological attendance conducted in a psychological university clinic. The focus of this analysis was to reflect on the dynamics of electing family as identified patients, making them responsible for the problems faced by all from the triages. It is understood that this procedure widens the professional comprehension regarding the care of families on the issues presented by them, fostering a more comprehensive and effective practice.

  A família é um grupo permeado por diferentes relações, sentimentos e pensamentos, que podem ou não ser elaborados ao longo da relação familiar. Assim, é comum a dificuldade de elaboração e simbolização de elementos que perpassam tal relação. Como uma alternativa para lidar com tais dificuldades, o grupo familiar pode eleger um paciente identificado, o qual será responsabilizado por todas as dificuldades enfrentadas pela família. A partir desta visão, objetivou-se, por meio deste estudo, de caráter clínico qualitativo, analisar as triagens de famílias para o atendimento psicológico familiar, feitas em um serviço-escola de Psicologia. O foco desta análise foi refletir sobre a dinâmica de se eleger familiares como pacientes identificados, responsabilizando-os, já desde a triagem, pelas problemáticas por todos enfrentadas. Entende-se que tal compreensão favorece a ampliação do olhar dos profissionais ligados ao atendimento de famílias acerca das questões apresentadas por estes grupos, fomentando uma prática mais abrangente e efetiva.
