  En el siguiente artículo se realiza una breve descripción sobre como la gestión tecnológica en las empresas ha llevado al uso de nuevas tecnologías que le permiten avanzar de manera vertiginosa en un mundo totalmente competitivo, un ejemplo de éstas es el RFID, para comprenderla mejor se realiza una caracterización de la tecnología, como funciona, cuales son los beneficios que se obtienen de ésta, como ha sido su implementación en el mundo y cuáles son las principales barreras para que no se utilice masivamente, además cual será el futuro del mundo con su uso.
