    Introducción. Los indicadores bibliométricos son estadísticos que describen las características e importancia de las publicaciones científicas. Este estudio tiene el objetivo de realizar un diagnóstico bibliométrico de la Revista CONAMED.

    Material y métodos. Se presenta un análisis basal de contenidos e indicadores bibliométricos de la Revista CONAMED, en el periodo 2008-2012.

    Resultados. Se publicaron 175 artículos en 20 números ordinarios y 6 suplementos, de los cuales 95 fueron artículos originales (54.3%). Endogamia editorial 46%, internacionalidad 41.82, 7.17 citas/año, índice H 4, porcentaje de visibilidad 74.8%.

    Conclusiones. La Revista CONAMED es una publicación altamente especializada que se apega a los lineamientos internacionales y está mostrando aumento en su influencia a través de los indicadores analizados, pero aún existe un gran camino por recorrer.

    Introduction. Bibliometric indicators are statistics that describe the characteristics and the importance of scientific researches. The objective of this study is to make a bibliometric diagnosis of the CONAMED Magazine.

    Method and materials. A basal analysis on content and indicators is presented in the CONAMED Magazine in the 2008-2012 period.

    Results. 175 articles were published in 20 ordinary numbers and 6 supplements, of which 95 were original articles (54.3%). 46% editorial inbreeding, 41.82 internationality, 7.17 quotes/year, H 4 index, visibility percentage of 74.8%.

    Conclusions. CONAMED Magazine is a highly specialized publication that follows the international standards and it is showing an increasing in its influence through the analysed indicators, but there still is a long way to go.
