  • The article discusses how cybercriminals target accounts at financial institutions, and offers advice on guarding against them. Electronic mail is a popular means of intrusion for a type of attack called an advanced persistent threat (APT). Among the author's recommendations are regular training classes on security awareness for employees, and use of whatever online security controls one's bank offers.
